TIMES HONGKONG, TAPANULI SELATAN – TMMD South Tapanuli has grafted the local wax aplle. It shows a result after 4-6 weeks of grafting. It makes everyone including the local community felt so happy. 

TMMD task force learns the skill from the local community. The locals taught them the best way to graft wax apple tree. For your information, the local community of Siuhom does have lots of wax apple tree around their house. 

Almost every house in the area has this kind of tree at their yard. "The root usually will grow after four to five weeks," Maya,  a local community said on Tuesday (13/7/2021).

Srg. Tajun Siregar, a member of TMMD South Tapanuli task force who learn the technique from the locals said that he felt so blessed with the new skill he had. The wax aplle tree were known to have a sweet taste and juicy.
